Vivan Waghela Week 15: AP EXAMS

 AP EXAMS

I am seriously going to hate May 10. The one day where there is 3 AP Exams back to back is the day I have all three. I already knew that the two AP Physics C exams would be on the same day back to back, but I was not expecting APENG TO BE RIGHT BEFORE THAT.

I am almost 100% sure I will forget something super important either on the argument essay or on the physics exams. When I read the argument essay prompt, I know there will be that one thing I should have known but I forgot about. Then in the physics exams, I will probably forget something like the work energy theorem or something about simple harmonic motion. I might even forget F=ma (it would be hilarious if someone actually forgets that). I might even forget the easiest stuff about circuits for E&M. Theres so many things that can go wrong with having APENG and AP Physics C AP exams back to back, and seriously cannot wait for it to be over. Did I mention I have a full on interview for band after that?

Seriously now, that one day will be horrible, and really nobody wants to do 3 AP Tests on the same day. I do not either. Basically, have fun doing whatever you guys are doing in class on that day as I will not be there. Good luck on your AP tests! All of you guys deserve it. I really need it too.

  1. Hi Vivan,

I pray for you, fellow soldier. God forbid I ever have to endure the pain brought on by not two but three AP exams in the same day. I like how you mentioned forgetting F = ma, even though we literally have a sheet with the formulas on it (granted, I will somehow still forget). You talk about forgetting SHM, yet I'm literally trying to learn it a week before my AP Physcis 1 exam. As for your interview regarding band, may you survive under the scrutiny of the force that is Mr. Wong. Best of luck, Mr. Waghela.

    Sincerely,

    Sean Wang

  2. Good luck Vivan! I feel you, but I don't want to. I might not have 3 AP exams on one day, but I do have 5 exams next week with no day in between for rest. I know for sure I am nowhere near you in terms of how smart you are, so you'll definitely be fine. Honestly, after tests, nothing matters anymore. It's a liberation that needs to be studied. I was scared for AP Chemistry; I got a string of 66% on my practice MCQ's and did even worse on FRQ's but at the end of the day, the exam was on Monday. When it's over, all that practice ends. My mom said that everything is in the hands of god, you can only do so much to change the course of where you belong. She believes in fate, and to an extent, I guess I do as well. After some effort, let go and leave the rest to your knowledge of your knowledge. Good luck! Believe in yourself and the time you put in.

  4. Hi Vivan,

You got this! As the master of AP Calculus BC, arguably the hardest AP CollegeBoard has to offer, you'll be fine. I'm sure of it.

In my experience, AP exams seem a lot harder than they actually are. Once you're actually taking them, a wave of relief will wash over you. Trust in your preparation, you've had some of the best, especially for APEng.

You're one of the smartest people I know, and if anyone can take on 3 APs, you can. Ace APEng and Physics C! I'll be rooting for you.

    Sincerely,
    Krish

  5. Hi Vivan,
Damn, three tests in one day is more than I could imagine. I have four tests all spread out within two weeks, and that has been really tough to study for. I focused so much on studying for my first exam (AP psych), that I essentially forgot to do mcq and frq practice for AP Csa, which was the day after. My last two are a week away, and I hate to say that I have barely started studying. Good luck on your exams.

  6. Hey Vivan, I can't even imagine how you're feeling. That sounds absolutely awful. Just remember to stay as calm as possible, drink water, and get at least 10 hours of sleep before, if possible. You got this, I believe in you!

  7. Hey Vivan!
I am actually praying for you right now as I type this comment. I think that memorization is such a huge part of AP exams, because the curriculum is literally centered around the concept of cramming as much information as possible. 3 AP exams on one day sounds absolutely brutal and I genuinely wish you the best for it. Make sure to take care of yourself and give yourself breaks because you deserve it. Thank you for sharing and good luck on your AP tests<3

  8. Hi Vivan,
Do not worry, AP Physics C provides you with a handy formula sheet so that you will not have to fear about memorizing formulas. You'll do great on all three of the AP exams! I know that you will be prepared for the AP exams and that you will do great on your band interview. As long as you stay hydrated, energized, and fairly relaxed, you will do great on everything! Make sure to prepare thoroughly and completely, but do not cut into your sleep. You'll do great!
    Sincerely,
    Raymond Yu

  9. Hi Vivan,

My brother I pray for not only your physical well being, but your mental well being. That sounds like you are going to have a really just fun and exciting day. I must recommend you sleep minimum 10 hours the night before. With that many exams, it'll be impressive if you manage to even stay awake. If I was proctoring your exam, I'd give you straight 5's for that alone. Once again, I wish you the best of luck my friend. May the odds be ever in your favor.

  10. Hi Vivan,
I am sure you will do fine on your AP exams as long as you have been paying attention in class this year. On another note, I agree that these tests are awful. After the APES test I was so tired I just wanted to pass out. And during the mock APENG exam we did on Saturday, I had to tell myself that I should get some sleep before the real one so I do not pass out during the test. It is unfortunate that you have three exams back to back, so the best I can say is good luck have fun don't die.
